I admit that not everything is as planned as I would like… I would even go as far to say that it’s quite disorganised! (and that is the American ‘quite’).
Therefore, this page will keep evolving over the next few days and weeks, but I do know a little bit already… (Updated 28th Dec)

First stop Tanzania
9th Oct – 4th Nov 2016
By arriving in Tanzania a day early, I just have one night to take a deep breath, learn a few words in Swahili and get ready for my first three weeks of volunteering with the local community around sustainable tourism and English language amongst other things.

Quick stop-over in Rwanda
4th – 6th Nov 2016
Flying into Kigali a couple of days early, just to explore the city a little bit before being picked up by the Big Beyond team who is driving me into Uganda.

Then it’s Uganda
6th Nov – 3rd Dec 2016
Am looking forward to a very different experience in Uganda for the 4 weeks of community empowerment volunteer work that I will be doing there.

Back to Tanzania (via Rwanda)
4th – 15th December 2016
During this period I’ll be aiming to get to the top of Kilimanjaro…
And I will be arriving back in Europe on the 16th Dec, as I am taking a break from exploring to spend Christmas with my family in Denmark and New Year’s in London with friends.
Almost as soon as 2017 have started, it’s time to head off again, this time I am flying further south, namely to…

Namibia
5th – 17th January 2017
This will just be holiday… exploring a country I have had on my list for a while and planning to tick off another bucket list item as well… hot air balloon over the Namibian desert – excited!

Back to Uganda (via Johannesburg)
18th January – 28th February 2017
I just had to go back to Uganda… first a couple of weeks of exploring the rest of the country and then back to volunteer in the southern sector for the month of February. Can’t wait to see everyone again!

Tanzania – part 3 (Via Rwanda)
1st – ?? March 2017
It’ll be fun to ca tech up with a few people in a Moshi before heading south to Iringa to help Carelynn with her education project… not sure when I’ll leave there but I’ll be bussing it to my next stop, so will need to leave a day for that… maybe 18th or 19th March

Then it’s Malawi
?? – 27th March 2017
Just a little bit of relaxation by Lake Malawi before heading back to London via Johannesburg. Arriving at Heathrow on the 29th March.

Can’t wait to read all about it! 🙂 Miss you!!!
