final preparations…

Just over a week before I head to Heathrow and the lists don’t seem to be getting any shorter. How is that even possible?

I have been preparing for this for so long that you’d think I would have been ready weeks ago, but things never really change for me when it comes to getting things done for a deadline… it’s the same as it was at university where I sat up all night with a 4-pack of Red Bull to finish that essay or that presentation…

But some stuff is getting done – some of the really important stuff:

  • Work handover done tick  (well almost!)
  • House rented out tick
  • Malaria tablets started tick

And now I am looking forward to a bit of a party before packing up the house and packing my life for the next few months into a rucksack!
